This work is set to live vocal performances of music by Barbra Streisand and explores the evolution of the body, identity, and presence onstage. The piece follows figures navigating ambition, intimacy, loss, and self-definition.

Blending contemporary dance with elements of concert and cabaret, familiar songs are transformed into sites of physical inquiry. The stage becomes a place of endurance, where to be visible is to be evaluated, consumed, desired, judged. The work lingers in that friction and the continuous effort of holding your shape under the pressure of perception. Ultimately, the piece considers what it means to take up space unapologetically, and how that act remains both radical, necessary, and increasingly difficult under the boundaries of capitalism in the 21st Century.
